The field of NFL teams was narrowed to eight, with four wildcard teams' seasons coming to an end over the weekend.

Gone from the Super Bowl hunt are the surprising San Francisco 49ers, the disappointing Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the inconsistent New York Jets, and the offensively challenged Miami Dolphins.

Hanging on to battle another week are the defending champion Baltimore Ravens, the rebounding Oakland Raiders, the always-frightening Favre-led Green Bay Packers, and the Philadelphia Eagles featuring the amazing Donovan McNabb.

The results of the wildcard action have set up the following matchups for the upcoming weekend:

     Saturday, January 19
NFC -- 4:30 pm ET on FOX
        Philadelphia at Chicago
AFC -- 8:00 pm ET on CBS
        Oakland at New England

     Sunday, January 20
AFC -- 12:30 pm ET on CBS
        Baltimore at Pittsburgh
NFC -- 4:00 pm ET on FOX
